Yorkville Launches Industry First High Income MLP ETF (YMLP) Focuses On High Distribution Commodity MLPs, No Overlap with Existing MLP ETF

New York City, NY — March 13, 2012 — Yorkville ETF Advisors announces that the Yorkville High Income MLP ETF (NYSE: YMLP) begins trading today, becoming the first exchange-traded fund to deliver exposure to high income commodity-based master limited partnerships (MLPs).

The firm’s extensive research and asset management experience in MLPs was the basis of this first to market product. YMLP was developed to capture the investment opportunity in commodity sector MLPs, which have historically provided higher yields and faster distribution growth than the more popular infrastructure sector, according to Yorkville Capital Management, LLC.

The Solactive High Income MLP Index tracked by YMLP is a rules-based index that applies a multi-factor selection model to the MLP universe. Analyzed factors include coverage ratio of distributions, distribution growth and size of distributions. A select group of MLPs that are deemed to be most favorable across all three factors become index constituents. These constituents fall primarily in the commodity MLP sector, which has historically exhibited more favorable distribution characteristics and similar risk-adjusted returns when compared to infrastructure MLPs, according to Yorkville Capital Management, LLC.

The Solactive High Income MLP Index is published and maintained by Structured Solutions AG (www.structured-solutions.eu). Structured Solutions AG determines the components and relative weightings of the securities in the Index and publishes information regarding the Index.
